	Called Out & Set Apart A Study of the Book of Judges
	Do you ever feel as if you’re the only follower of Jesus in your home, your school, or your community? Do you sometimes feel like odd man (or woman) out? Our culture can impact our belief system, our worldview, and our worship. It’s hard to resist blending in and fitting in when we’ve been called out and set apart. Although the ancient nation of Israel was called out and set apart by God, they were very much like our country today in that they chose to ignore God. But every time their comfort, safety, and prosperity were threatened, they cried out to God. It became a vicious cycle. But God, in His grace and mercy responded each time by raising up a deliver, a judge.
Through Biblical teaching and practical application, you will explore how we, as a nation and as individuals, often behave a lot like Israel. Is God God in our heart and in our home no matter what the neighbors do, or the courts rule, or the legislature decides? This study also examines the men and women God used to rescue Israel and you’ll be encouraged to learn that... God chooses flawed people to do His flawless work. No matter who you are, where you’ve been, or what you’ve done, God has a place for you in His heart, in His Kingdom, and in His work right here, right now. This study reveals God’s sovereignty, His grace, His faithfulness, and His great patience with us. Don’t you need to know more about a God like that?
